Sunflowers for Women’s Shelters Across CT

The Denise D’Ascenzo Foundation is launching Project Sunflower — an initiative to spread kindness and remind people to help others and to “Be Open”…”Be Brave”…and “Be Kind.”

This weekend, our Board Members delivered sunflowers, Denise's favorite flower, to nearly 200 women currently staying in a dozen homeless shelters and transitional housing throughout the state. Flowers were generously donated by National Floral Supply, LLC of Orange, Conn.
